This website offers you some information about our experiences as a CrowdFarmer. We, that are Gabi Schwall and Frank Lehmann, receive part of our groceries directly from small farmers in Spain, France, Italy, Austria and Germany. The basis of our relationships with these farmers is a special kind of sponsoring. Before the start of a new season we adopt, for example, an orange tree or some square yards of a saffron field. With our sponsoring fee the farmer is able to calculate  investments as well as the expected sales volumes with much higher reliability. We, on the other hand, acquire through our sponsoring the right to receive a certain amount of the harvest. Orders, payments and deliveries are organized by the internet platform CrowdFarming.com  , which connects farmers and consumers all over Europe.

All products in our shopping cart are delivered by sponsored farmers, some of whom we support in this way already since more than five years. In the black area shown above we have listed all sites of these farms. In small maps you’ll find where our farmers live and work. Some of them we have already visited- and you’ll find our various experiences in small reports.

Some particular moments as CrowdFarmers we have put down in a special section. And, of course, we’d like to share some tried out recipes a la CrowdFarmer with you.
